According to a report Via Goal who cites Telefoot claims Paris Saint Germain are ready to do busy over the transfer of Thomas Meunier as the club seeks to ease financial fair play.
Meunier has just one year left on his current deal at Parc Pes Princes, and Inside Futebol claim Les Parisiens could cash in on him to avoid losing him on a free.
Manchester United and Arsenal have been credit with links for the German defender, The Ligue 1 club are thought to want around £26.5million for the right-back, but any move could be dependent on the Gunners qualifying for the Champions League next season.
While the Red Devils were heavily linked with a switch for the Belgium international – with the player said to be desperate to seal a switch to Old Trafford.
And the two clubs will be encouraged by what Meunier had to say in an interview with French news outlet RMC.
He said: “My philosophy and mentality have never changed.
“I have been saying since my first steps here at PSG that I would be devoted to the club until the end of my contract or more.
“He [Thomas Tuchel] will be able to count on me.
“Sometimes it is a bit frustrating and the happiness in football is in playing.
“But choices have been made and the coach will take his own decisions.”
