Manchester United could be handed a transfer blow with reports suggesting Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a dramatic approach to sign Ander Herrera.
The Spanish midfielder deal at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season and he is yet to agree to new terms.
The Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season and free to negotiate with foreign clubs, with the big-spending French champions reportedly putting together an offer worth over £170,000-a-week to convince him to leave Old Trafford.
And now the Daily Record claims Herrera has decided to end his five-year stay in Manchester and has agreed terms with PSG.
United had made some progress in talks over extending his stay at the club but the lure of a mega-money three-year deal at PSG has proved too much for Herrera to ignore.
The Ligue 1 club have been on the hunt for a midfielder after seeing their move for Everton’s Idrissa Gueye rebuffed in the January transfer window.
Herrera is currently out injured but is expected to return to fitness from a hip injury after the international break and could be in contention for their match with Watford.
