Reports via the Metro claim Arsenal have scheduled talks with a potential replacement for Unai Emery after’s Saturday’s 2-0 defeat against Leicester City which has left them with just one win in their last six Premier League clash.
The report claims Arsenal board are considering a move for Luiz Enrique, the former Spanish midfielder who has been out of work since leaving his post as coach of the Spanish national team in June this year.
Spanish journalist Kike Marin suggested on Twitter that there has been contact between Raul Sanllehi and Enrique as Emery’s position has been put into the air after series of poor performance from the team so far this season.
Emery took over from Arsene Wenger last season ago and have failed to live up to expectation with a huge number of fans reportedly growing impatient with the Spanish manager.
And was previously been linked with a move to take over from Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea last summer when but the Italian manager was appointed instead and is now being touted for the Arsenal job.
Enrique guided Barcelona to back-to-back La Liga titles in 2014/15 and 15/16 and the Champions League in 14/15 too.
Now the big question remains who will replace Unai Emery with a several reports claiming 12 managers have been linked with move already to take over from the Spaniard.
