Chelsea could receive offers from Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan for Olivier Giroud in January, according to Fourfourtwo.
The 33-year-old has struggled for play time under new manager Frank Lampard since he took over from Maurizio Sarri this summer.
The former Chelsea defender prefers to field younger players which has seen the World Cup winner struggle for game time at the Stamford Bridge this season.
Tammy Abraham’s prolific form means that Giroud’s options at the Blues are limited, and former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte could be the man to come to his rescue.
Football agent Oscar Damiani has discussed the reports in the media that have seen Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud linked to Inter.
“I know Giroud well. He is a player who participates in the game and knows how to score goals: he could be an alternative to Lukaku. While it is difficult for them to play together, for a club like Inter, who have so many commitments, he could be useful.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Conte is searching for extra attacking options for a frontline, he however have the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martínez but reports suggest he is keen on a move for Giroud.
I strongly believe a move away is a good option for both parties. Giroud wants a consistent run of first team football as he targets a place in the France squad for next summer’s Euro 2020 tournament.
Giroud has scored 19 goals in 69 appearances for the west London club, while providing 13 assists for team-mates.
