Chelsea could welcome Ex Nigerian winger Victor Moses in January with several reports suggesting Fenerbahce seem keen on terminating his disappointing loan spell, according to the Daily Mail.
Moses, 28, was loaned out to remain in the Turkish Super Lig side till May 31, 2020, but he has failed to replicate his impressive form in Turkey, he has only managed to play four games this season and has found the back of the net ones.
However, Turkish sports daily, Fanatik is now reporting that Fenerbahce have identified Ahmed Musa as an ideal replacement for Moses.
Damien Comolli, director of football for Fenerbahce, is preparing to hold talks with Al Nassr regarding the signing of another Nigerian international Musa.
Meanwhile, Moses has been on Chelsea’s books since 2012 and has made 128 appearances for the club, scoring 18 times, he has been loaned to Liverpool, Stoke, West Ham and now Fenerbahce.
The Nigeria international won the Premier League title with the Blues in the 2016-17 campaign as he played a key part for Antonio Conte’s side, while he also won the FA Cup in 2018 and the Europa League in 2013.
