Arsenal boss Unai Emery has been in the headlines for much of this season for the wrong reasons.
Poor performances stretching back to the beginning of the year has seen the Spanish tactician come under fire with his employers as well as the Arsenal fans.
As at the time of writing this report, the Gunners head coach is already reportedly walking on thin ice and could be fired as early as before the end of the month.
Emery has led Arsenal to it’s worst run of win-less games in over 25-years, with the point of reference being the Gunners inability to hold on to a lead, giving away cheap goals to opposition teams.
This is among the major reason the Gunners board and fans have turned against the manager in recent months, with Arsenal also loosing their identity as a free flowing attacking side under the Spaniard reign at the Emirates.
With shocking defeats to Sheffield United and Leicester City, horrendous draws to Crystal Palace and Southampton, culminating with underwhelming performances both home and away, Emery’s time at Arsenal is certainly almost up.
Several reports making the rounds claim the Arsenal board have already begun the search for his replacement a few weeks ago, despite coming out publicly to say they back the Spaniard.
Inside sources at Arsenal claim all that press charade was an attempt to calm the nerves of fans, who have grown frustrated with recent results and performances.
The players don’t seem to play for him anymore, and the fans are frustrated with the performances and results.
Surely it is only a matter of time before the board are forced to sack the former Paris Saint Germain manager.
My guess? before December!
