Report claims former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is planning a January transfer raid for Brazilian duo Willian and Emerson Palmieri, according to the Daily Star.

The Italian was relieved of his job as Chelsea head coach after just 12 months at the Stamford Bridge.

Willian who will be out of a contract could leave the Stamford Bridge revealed he has already informed Chelsea of his long-term intentions.

Asked if Chelsea had made him any offer yet, Willian said: “No, not yet. Honestly I’m happy here.

“I feel happy to play for this club but this situation is not in my hands. It’s in theirs.

“I wait for them. They know what I want, what I want to do. They already know so I wait for them.”

“No, I don’t want to talk to them because I have a contract until the end of the season,” Willian added.

“I am a Chelsea player but I just want to say the club know what I want to do.”

Willian has made known his intentions and is hopeful of extending his stay in west London, insisting he does not want to talk to other teams in January.

The 31-year old is a long-time target for Juventus whose sporting director Fabio Paratici has visited London over the last couple of weeks to discuss a possible deal to sign the pair.

Meanwhile, Emerson arrived at Chelsea from Juventus’ in the winter window of 2018. After a relatively slow start to life in London, the full-back has grown in stature over the past year and has emerged as a top target for Sarri.

However, an injury sustained in September forced him out of action for over a month. The 25-year-old has made ten appearances across all competitions for Chelsea so far this season.

It is understood Chelsea have no interest in selling the 25-year-old, who is contracted to the club till the summer of 2022.
